Civilian Fatality Structure Fire; INC#0118; 02:22AM; 3537 S May St; ; #MarVista; PRELIM: LAFD crew responding to an unknown type request for aid (9-1-1 hangup) arrived to find fire in a 1,096 square-foot one story home. Additional crews were assigned, and the first arriving 20 LAFD personnel had the flames fully extinguished at 2:50 AM. In searching the premises, LAFD responders discovered two persons, one male and one female (age and affiliation yet to be determined), as well as a pet cat, had perished in the flames. No other injuries were reported. Fire cause under active investigation.
