Structure Fire - Update; INC#0642; 12:00PM; 1102 W 5th St; ; #SanFernando; As a result of this fire, 7 total persons and 1 cat were displaced and are being assisted by Red Cross. San Fernando Building and Safety, as well as local utility companies, have been attached to the incident for structure and utility management. One firefighter was transported to a local hospital for a minor hand injury; no civilian injuries reported. Structure Fire - Now Out 06/05/2025 INC#0642

Structure Fire - Now Out; INC#0642; 10:50AM; 1100 W 5th St; ; #SanFernando; First arriving companies discovered an outside fire that extended into a duplex and an outside shed, as well as threatening several other surrounding structures. Firefighters coordinated roof and interior operations on the duplex, extinguished the shed fire, and protected exposures -- complete knockdown achieved in 32 minutes. Propane tanks noted off-gassing on scene, now neutralized. Companies remain on scene for overhaul. Update Vehicle vs. Pedestrians; INC#1076; 05:40PM; 4533 Laurel Canyon Bl; ; #StudioCity; Others have now come forward at the scene seeking medical evaluation by LAFD Paramedics, bringing the total patient count to SIX. They include the aforementioned teenage male minor taken to the hospital by LAFD Paramedics in grave condition (his updated status must now come from the hospital), the other teenage male minor who was being medically evaluated at the scene pending parental guidance, as well as *one other minor and three other adults* (undetermined age/gender/condition/affiliation/circumstances), who appear to have non-specific and non-life threatening injuries. Vehicle vs. Pedestrians; INC#1076; 03:08PM; 4533 Laurel Canyon Bl; ; #StudioCity; *This Information Corrects Anecdotal Information That May Have Been Shared By Non-LAFD Sources*. PRELIM: One vehicle struck and gravely injured a male teenage minor pedestrian in the parking lot of a private school. That patient and his uninjured father were transported to an area hospital by LAFD Paramedics. Another teenage male minor, not believed related to that patient, later came forward to report unspecified minor injuries following the incident. He is still being medically evaluated at the scene, pending parental guidance. The Mayor's Crisis Response Team is en route to offer emotional support and recovery assistance to relatives and witnesses at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
