Hiker Rescue; INC#0396; 07:37AM; O'Melveny Trl; ; #GranadaHills; Firefighters located an approximate 83-year-old male in a remote area, with an head injury from fall. Ground crews were unable to bring apparatus to the patient's location due to the terrain, therefore LAFD Air Operations utilized a hoist operation. Rescuers were lowered down to the patient to assess, treat, and prepare the patient for a hoist. LAFD Air Operations hoisted and transported the patient by air to a local hospital. Nothing further.
