Hiker Rescue; INC#1317; 07:06PM; 1900 N Runyon Canyon Rd; ; Hollywood Hills West; LAFD crews located three uninjured hikers (age/gender=18M, 11M, 8F) and their dog in a remote area of Runyon Canyon, who were unable to make it up a steep slope. Firefighters have set up a low angle rope rescue with assistance from pulleys providing a mechanical advantage to assist these hikers up the slope safely. LAFD Air Ops is standing by with their Nightsun® (high-intensity searchlight) to assist with visibility as the evening light fades.
