Hiker Rescue; INC#0893; 02:18PM; Haines Canyon Motorway; ; #Tujunga; PRELIM: LAFD ground and air response to an 47 year-old male mountain bicyclist who sustained a severe ankle fracture in a fall from a remote section of the Haines Canyon Motorway in the San Gabriel Mountain foothills. A pair of LAFD Flight Paramedics have been lowered from a hovering LAFD rescue helicopter to medically assess and stabilize the patient, who will soon be hoisted onto the aircraft with the LAFD Flight Paramedics, for in-flight treatment during direct transport to an area hospital.
