Hiker Rescue; INC#1058; 03:45PM; Wilson Canyon Loop Trail; ; #Sylmar; LAFD ground and air response to a 26 year-old female hiker who sustained an ankle injury in a ground level fall on a remote section of the Wilson Canyon Loop Trail in the San Gabriel Mountain foothills. An LAFD Flight Paramedic has been lowered from a hovering LAFD rescue helicopter to medically assess and stabilize the patient, who will soon be hoisted onto the aircraft with the LAFD Flight Paramedic, for in-flight care during direct transport to an area hospital.
