Hiker Rescue; INC#0973; 02:02PM; 7099 Woodstone Pl; ; #WestHills; Firefighters responded to reports of hikers in distress, in the Bell Canyon Area. Two males and three females were located in a remote area. Firefighters made contact with the group, by both ground and air, to assess their needs. Two females were hoisted and transported by air to a local hospital (both in *at least* serious condition). The other three hikers were escorted back down the trail by firefighters on the ground to be evaluated as a precaution, but found to have only mild (or no) symptoms and did not need hospital transport.
