Hoist Rescue; INC#1587; 06:27PM; 7600 W Verdugo Crestline Dr; ; #Tujunga; Firefighters located a 29-year-old female in a remote area with a lower leg injury. Ground crews were unable to bring apparatus to the patient's location, therefore LAFD Air Operations utilized a hoist operation. A rescuer was lowered down to the patient to assess, treat, and prepare the patient for a hoist. LAFD Air Operations transported the patient by air to a local hospital.
