Jumper; INC#1438; 07:27PM; 2030 S Spaulding Av; ; Mid-City; One patient was found on the ledge of the wash on the other side of a chain-link fence threatening to harm himself (reasons unk). Two civilians (unk affiliation) were holding him down, trying to prevent him from jumping. LAFD set up a rope system to ensure firefighter safety and cut through the fence to gain access to the patient and remove him from the situation. Patient has been evaluated and transported to an area hospital. LAPD on scene.
