Knockdown - Greater Alarm Structure Fire; INC#0940; 04:49PM; 9820 N San Fernando Rd; ; Pacoima; 87 firefighters took 72 minutes in defensive operations (from the outset) to access, confine and fully extinguish stubborn flames in a 4,000 square-foot 1-story (with mezzanine) cinder-block building with corrugated steel roof, housing an (unspecified nature) automotive business. Multiple vehicles on the property were also damaged by flames. Firefighters successfully prevented a nearby structure from harm. No injury.
