Knockdown - Structure Fire; INC#0950; 02:44PM; 1023 N Berendo St; ; #EastHollywood; *Corrected Address* 75 LAFD Firefighters took just 63 minutes of well-coordinated defensive firefighting operations to extinguish heavy fire that destroyed a vacant, boarded two-story Craftsman-style home, the site of a previous fire, that was well involved with flames on their arrival. Firefighters were able to limit fire damage to an occupied one-story home to the north, that despite intense flames, suffered only superficial fire damage. No injury. Fire cause under investigation.
