KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1063; 04:05PM; 6050 S Madden Av; ; Hyde Park; The first 30 firefighters extinguished flames in an add-on portion to the rear of a one-story craftsman-style single-family home in 15 minutes. Fire consumed approximately half of the house before firefighters mounted a rapid and coordinated attack between interior hose lines and rooftop ventilation to quickly snuff it out.
