KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0178; 04:07AM; 6900 S Knowlton Pl; ; Westchester; The fire appeared to have originated with a dryer in a second-floor laundry room of the two-story apartment building. 26 firefighters worked to contain the flames to the room-of-origin, extinguishing the fire in 19 minutes. Occupants sheltered in place to avoid any smoke hazard. No reported injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
