KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1960; 12:17AM; 7406 S Figueroa St; ; #VermontKnolls; Firefighters arrived to find a two-story apartment building (site of previous burns) with fire through the roof. Firefighters briefly began the fire fight in defensive mode, applying hose streams from the exterior only, and quickly transitioned to offensive mode to get inside and apply water directly to the seat of the fire. Ultimately, it took 46 firefighters 22 minutes to extinguish the flames. No reported injuries.
