KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1853; 11:13PM; 1370 E 20th St; ; Central-Alameda; It took 34 Firefighters 26 minutes to extinguish the flames consuming a detached garage, and eliminate the fire that spread into an upper unit of a nearby garden-style apartment building. One firefighter sustained a lower-extremity injury (non-life-threatening), and was taken to a local hospital for care.
