KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1769; 10:39PM; 22521 W Styles St; ; #WoodlandHills; Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire showing from an attached garage, and made an aggressive attack, working from the uninvolved to the involved portion of the structure with hose lines, and confined the damage to the garage only. Crews skillfully prevented the flames from entering the living space of the home, or the attic, extinguishing the fire in 22 minutes (30 firefighters). Occupants escaped, but one animal was still frightened inside, but firefighters found the beloved pet and brought it out unharmed. One person was evaluated with a minor medical complaint, but did not need to be transported to the hospital.
