There are remaining pockets of fire which are difficult to reach safely. Firefighters will continue to apply water and control, preventing them from reigniting while shift change occurs on scene. LA Building and Safety is responding to officially determine the status of the structure. The civilian patients earlier evaluated for possible smoke inhalation declined LAFD transport.
