KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire - FATALITY; INC#0543; 10:53AM; 1210 E 35th St; ; Central-Alameda; KNOCKDOWN: 30 firefighters extinguished the fire in 35 minutes. The fire extended from a room in the back of the house up into the attic. While conducting their primary search of the involved room, firefighters located a deceased victim. LAFD Arson is responding for the investigation (protocol). LAFD PIO Captain Cody Weireter is responding for media availability. LA County Medical Examiner-Coroner will be the agency determining cause of death and patient identification.
