Public / Media Advisory; 10:45PM; #GranadaHills / #PorterRanch; The cause of this evening's two brush fires alongside the eastbound Ronald Reagan (SR118) Freeway between Hayvenhurst Avenue (LAFD Incident #1853) and Reseda Boulevard (LAFD Incident #1841) are connected, and considered to be incendiary in nature. Eyewitnesses informed the California Highway Patrol (West Valley Log #3318) that one or more persons were seen discharging fireworks from a black van.
