Sink Hole; INC#0369; 08:13AM; 567 S Mission Rd; ; Boyle Heights; LAFD responded to a large sink hole where, thankfully, there were no injuries. However, as the hole expanded, a vehicle near the edge was at risk of falling in and colliding with gas lines below. LAFD Heavy Rescue 3 responded and recovered the vehicle before it potentially caused a greater hazard. Crews will remain on scene to ensure public safety. DWP and Gas Company have been notified.
