Smoke Odor Advisory 08/21/2022

Smoke Odor Advisory; 08:00AM; Greater Los Angeles; Current weather conditions have led to a strong and lingering odor of smoke across the greater Los Angeles area, including the San Fernando Valley, related to a major structure fire overnight in the downtown Los Angeles area. Though the non-injury fire has been extinguished, the smoke odor is expected to continue this morning across a large area. Unless you have an emergency or can localize and offer a *specific location* for *active fire* with *visible smoke and flames*, there is no need to call 9-1-1 to report the odor.; Brian Humphrey
