Structure Fire - Now Out; INC#0564; 09:55AM; 11741 W Saticoy St; ; #SunValley; 2 story garden-style apartment building with light smoke initially showing from one unit on the first floor. Firefighters made entry and determined the source of the smoke to be a lithium-ion battery -- knockdown achieved in 12 minutes. LAFD medics are assessing a dog that was in the unit for possible smoke inhalation, and LAFD hazardous materials experts are enroute to assist with disposal of battery. Nothing further.
