Structure Fire - Now Out; INC#0276; 06:39AM; 231 W 27th St; ; Historic South-Central; Smoke in the hallway of the second floor of a three-story center hallway apartment building caused occupants to evacuate. A small fire in the hallway was kept in check by a fire sprinkler. The fire did not spread to any residential units. LAFD will ventilate the building and conduct a water sweep operation to help prevent further water damage from the sprinkler activation.
