Structure Fire - Now Out; INC#1651; 08:14PM; 5555 W Manchester Av; ; #Westchester; LAFD Firefighters were summoned by an automatic fire alarm system to discover a blaze held in check by a fire sprinkler system within one 5th floor storage unit of the 7 story (highly compartmentalized modern concrete construction) "Extra Space Storage" facility. First arriving LAFD Firefighters fully extinguished flames (8:40 PM), and are commencing salvage, protection of building contents and water removal.
