Structure Fire - Now Out; INC#1511; 07:47PM; 849 N La Brea Av; ; #Fairfax; LAFD arrived on scene to a five-story modern apartment building with light smoke showing from the second floor, reportedly due to an electric scooter malfunction. Knockdown in 15 minutes by 34 firefighters on scene, with no injuries reported. HazMat specialists have been attached, and crews will remain on scene for approximately 30 minutes to manage lithium-ion battery removal and overhaul of the affected apartment unit.
