Update Brush Fire; INC#0991; 01:32PM; 15700 W Burbank Bl; ; Sepulveda Basin; As the fire fight raged on, it took 80 men and women of the LAFD just under 30 minutes to stop the forward spread of fire in the brush. There were no other injuries reported to civilians or firefighters. Due to the mechanism of injury being from a blast, the firefighter was transported to Northridge Hospital via Air Ambulance. The injuries to the Firefighter are now considered to be serious but not life threatening. PIO Erik Scott is at the Hospital to answer media inquires.
