Update Chemical Investigation; INC#1305; 09:10PM; Building 40 UCLA; ; Westwood; One (unk age) female student was in proximity of an apparent chemical interaction in a laboratory inside a 4 story science building; She is conscious and alert with only minor laceration/s; She walked outdoors, where she was medically evaluated following a rinse by LAFD crews to assure no chemical contamination before being taken by ambulance to an area hospital in good condition; There are no other patients, no need for formal evacuation and no offsite or escalating hazard was identified, Pursuant of protocol, LAFD HazMat experts - working in consultation with UCLA staff, entered the lab to determine there was no spill, before turning location over to campus officials for assessment, cleanup and investigation; FS 71; Batt 9; West Bureau; Council District 5; Dispatched LAFD Units: BC9 E237 E292 E37 E71 E95 EM9 RA37 RA71 RA837 SQ95 T37 T92; - Brian Humphrey
