Update Chemical Investigation 07/31/2023 INC#0489

Update Chemical Investigation; INC#0489; 10:30AM; 9332 N De Soto Av; ; #Chatsworth; LAFD Hazmat teams concluded their investigation. The odor has dissipated and all readings are normal. The previously-smelled substance was not able to be identified, but is no longer a hazard. All readings were within normal limits. The building has been deemed safe to inhabit, and all evacuees are able to re-enter the building. A total of two adult patients were transported with medical complaints (unknown if they were connected to the odor).
