In a 4 hour time-period (between noon - 4 PM) the LAFD responded to nearly 150 "Wire's Down" 911 incidents. When it comes to downed wires, "Stay Away, Stay Safe". Keep your distance from all fallen wires. Treat all power lines as if they are 'live'. Never go near or touch anything or anyone that has come in contact with an electrical wire.
