A roof ventilation operation closely coordinated with an interior fire attack into the attic stopped the fire from spreading throughout the attic. Firefighters contained it to a small (footage ?) area, thus saving the majority of the building from suffering damage. Crews will be on scene extended period conducting salvage operations.
