Update Structure Fire; 02:08PM; 173 S Ardmore Av; internal:/; Koreatown: Total of 4 homes damaged: 2 homes heavily damaged, 1 moderately and 1 minor. Number of occupants displaced per home, starting with the home to the furthest north and working south: Home 1 = 3, Home 2 = 3 (1 in back house that was not damaged), Home 3 = 9 (5 adults, 4 children), Home 4 = 4. Red Cross will be providing assistance to those occupants needing help (some occupants declined). No injuries reported. Pet dog, owner Nancy Marin, named "Brownie" was penned in the yard by FF from Fire Station 52 during the battle. Eng Don Maisel of Fire Station 26 brought Brownie to safety once fire was knocked down. Brownie was taken to the vet and is reported to be doing well.
