Update Structure Fire; INC#0591; 11:17AM; 306 W 59th Pl; ; Florence; The male occupant of the unit has barricaded himself and is not communicating with first responders. Based on smoke conditions (lack thereof), there does not appear to be an active fire problem. Firefighters left equipment in place and have moved to a safe location while LAPD establishes their operation. This will be a LAPD lead until the occupant is removed and firefighters can make entry to determine what, if any, action is required. The building remains evacuated and no injuries reported.
