Update Structure Fire; INC#0461; 12:25PM; 3737 N Valley Meadow Rd; ; Encino; The missing pet dog was found by firefighters in a room within the heavily damaged/collapsed 4 car detached garage; S/he was sadly beyond veterinary care, and determined to be dead at the scene; No other animal or human injury was reported; The family of 4 adults has been referred to the American Red Cross for temporary assistance with accommodations, as the house is presently untenable; The cause of the blaze remains under active investigation; FS 88; Batt 10; Valley Bureau; Council District 5; - Brian Humphrey
