Smoke in the area is from smoldering debris that firefighters are unable to access without heavy equipment. LAFD Heavy Equipment Operators are en route to assist. Lankershim will be closed from Vanowen to Hart to allow the Heavy Equipment access to the addresses. No reported injuries.
