Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0325; 08:15AM; 1516 S Main St; ; Downtown; *Address Tentative* Forty-six LAFD firefighters confined heavy fire to one rear storage area of a 4,000 sq-ft metal-clad commercial building (built in 1936), knocking down the flames in 31 minutes. Firefighters quickly deployed rotary saws to make access to the rear of the structure and saved the front three quarters of the structure from damage (fire and smoke remained compartmentalized). There were no reported injuries.
