Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1005; 06:58PM; 3060 E 4th St; ; Boyle Heights; Responding firefighters found a two-story single-family home with a converted attic above, smoke showing. Salvage efforts began immediately to protect belongings from additional damage from the firefighting effort. After quickly moving or covering belongings a coordinated fire attack with vertical ventilation extinguished the fire consuming a converted attic and burning down to the second story. The whole effort took 30 firefighters 14 minutes. There were no reported injuries.
