Update FATALITY Trench Rescue; INC#0742; 12:18PM; 8405 N Glenoaks Bl; ; Sun Valley; Sadly, the patient was determined dead on scene. The incident is transitioning to a recovery operation with some LAFD resources being released. This does not *appear* to be a city employee but instead a private business construction operation however that is not yet confirmed. OSHA is being notified, per protocol, and is the point of contact regarding circumstances/cause etc. LAPD (Inc# 2136) and LA County Coroner are the referring agencies regarding identity and cause of death. No further details.
