UPDATED: Outside Fire; INC#1183; 05:14PM; 450 E 54th St; ; #SouthPark; Outside rubbish fire involving a shed and pallets of hand sanitizer. Fire is exposing but not involved with a one-story commercial building. Firefighters are preparing for an extended operation, currently allowing the alcohol-based hand sanitizer to burn off and protecting exposures. Incident Command has requested additional resources, for a total of 66 firefighters on scene, as well as large quantities of Class B foam and sand to manage runoff. Also requested: DWP for wires down on scene, LAFD HazMat specialists, and County Health HazMat.
