Celebration of Life: LAFD Firefighter Brian G. Corntassel
The men and women of your have been deeply saddened by the death of Firefighter III Brian G. Corntassel, who died at home on April 4, 2023.
His sudden and unexpected passing has been a tremendous loss to his family, friends, our City and Department.
Brian began his LAFD career on October 23, 2000, and served our communities with distinction for more than 22 years. He was most recently assigned to the "A" Shift at Fire Station 5 in Westchester.
The public memorial service for Firefighter Corntassel will be held:
