The men and women of the have been deeply saddened by the death of active duty Firefighter/Paramedic Valerie L. Roberts on May 20, 2023.
Firefighter/Paramedic Roberts began her LAFD career on February 16, 1993. She was assigned to the Department's Quality Improvement Unit at the time of her at-home passing.
A public memorial service for Firefighter/Paramedic Roberts, to which all are warmly welcome, will be held:
