Change your Clock / Check your Smoke Alarm

‘Daylight Saving Time’ ends on Sunday, November 2nd, 2014 and residents are reminded to move their clocks back one hour, test their smoke alarms and practice their family’s fire evacuation plan.

On October 30, 2014, the and Councilmember from the 4th Council District provided residents critical life safety information, regarding the importance of smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.

This year the city has suffered 20 structure fire related fatalities, 14 of which did not have working smoke alarms. This is an opportunity to make your home safer, while remembering to change your clock.
