Firefighters Ask You To Fill The Boot For MDA 2025

Firefighters across the country have collected critical funds in the community since 1954 – one dollar at a time – as part of the "Fill the Boot" program for the (MDA). 

During this 71st year of Fill The Boot, your local firefighters are continuing this long-standing tradition, as ÃûæÂÖ±²¥ members kick off the annual program raising funds to support MDA’s vision to accelerate research, advance care and advocate for the support of MDA families.

 

Dedicated firefighters from your LAFD will hit the streets, asking pedestrians, motorists, customers, and other passersby to donate to MDA on May 12, 13, and 14, 2025 from 8 AM to 2 PM at locations across the city ()

The strong partnership between MDA and the has been in place for more than seven decades. Thanks to your heartfelt kindness, firefighters nationwide have raised in excess of $700 million in that time period to directly support the important work of MDA.
