LAFD Battles Fire in High Rise County Office Building

HISTORIC SOUTH CENTRAL-
The ÃûæÂÖ±²¥ battled a Major Emergency Structure Fire south of downtown Los Angeles early Wednesday morning, extinguishing flames in less than an hour.
The fire at was reported at 3:58 AM on March 8, 2023, bringing more than 160 LAFD firefighters to battle heavy fire on the sixth floor of a large six story office building housing various offices. The fire was knocked down at 4:57 AM.
Two LAFD Firefighters have been treated at the scene for respiratory complaints following smoke inhalation during the fierce firefight.
No civilian injuries were reported.
The fire's cause remains the focus of an active ÃûæÂÖ±²¥ investigation.
