LAFD Celebrates 75th Anniversary of Historic Van Nuys Fire Station

The ÃûæÂÖ±²¥ (LAFD) invites the public to an anniversary and BBQ celebration at Fire Station 39, as it celebrates 75 years of service to the residents of Los Angeles. Fire Station 39, at 14415 Sylvan Street, Van Nuys, 91401, first opened in July 1939, and is the oldest active station in the LAFD.

LAFD personnel and community members will gather at Fire Station 39 to celebrate its 75th anniversary as an active LAFD station.
