LAFD Firefighter Application Filing Period 2018
The (LAFD) Firefighter testing process and recruitment campaign will begin March 5 through June 29, 2018. Both the registration for the Firefighter Candidate Assessment (FCA) exam and the application filing dates will be available during this time.

- Register to take the written examination March 5 - June 29, 2018
- Apply online March 5, 2018 - June 29, 2018
- Pass the oral interview
- Complete and pass the background investigation
- Complete and pass the review of qualifications
- Complete and pass a medical and psychological exam
