It is with profound sadness that the ÃûæÂÖ±²¥ announces the off-duty death of Active-Duty Inspector I Ramon (Ray) Carrasco on February 25, 2025. We extend our deepest condolences to Ray's family, friends, and loved ones among our own ranks.
Ray joined the LAFD on October 23, 2000, and was most recently assigned to the Fire Prevention Bureau, Public Assemblage Unit.
Details about Ray's memorial service are still being determined. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firefighter’s Fund, PO BOX 41903, Los Angeles, CA 90041.
