Man, Two Dogs Found Dead In Valley Glen Apartment Fire

The  quickly extinguished an apartment fire in Valley Glen early Thursday morning, to discover an adult male and two dogs deceased within the involved unit.

 

The fire at was reported at 12:59 AM on December 8, 2022, bringing 28 LAFD Firefighters under the command of Battalion Chief Brian Petty to battle and confine heavy fire within one first floor apartment at the 23,523-square-foot, 24 unit, two-story building.

Firefighters extinguished the fire in just 22 minutes. No other injuries were reported.

The Los Angeles Police Department has . The specific cause of the fire remains the focus of an active investigation by ÃûæÂÖ±²¥ investigators.

A confirmation of the decedent's identity, as well as the cause, time and manner of his death, will be determined by the County of Los Angeles .
