Public Invited to Remember 9/11 in Los Angeles

In many ways, it is hard to believe that fourteen years have passed since our nation was attacked on September 11, 2001. While time moves forward, it in no way lessens the resolve of firefighters who loudly pledge: We Shall Never Forget!

The men and women of the warmly welcome you to stand with them in fulfilling this pledge, as they gather for events on Friday, September 11, 2015 at three separate locations.

All are welcome to these solemn yet uplifting public ceremonies:

  • Operation West Bureau 
  • LAFD Historical Society Museum & Fallen Firefighters Memorial
  • 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM
  • Operation Central Bureau (LAFD's "official" event)
  • LAFD 9/11 Memorial Event
  • FHMTC 
  • 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
  • Operation Valley Bureau
  • 9/11/15 Fourteen Years Later
  • Fire Station 88 
  • 7:00 PM

We hope you can join us for one or more of these events. If that is not possible, we kindly ask you to take time for quiet personal reflection in remembrance of all who were killed in New York, Pennsylvania and Northern Virginia on .
