As Storm Approaches, New Evacuation Orders and Warnings Go Into Effect
LOS ANGELES - The city is currently under EVACUATION ORDERS for specific addresses and EVACUATION WARNINGS for several areas. Due to the heavy storm inbound from the northwest, the risk for mudslides and debris flows is very high. Evacuation orders and warnings take effect on 7am on Thursday, February 13, 2025.
Evacuation orders and warnings remain in effect and will be enforced by LAPD until 2pm Friday, February 14, 2025.

Evacuation WARNINGS apply in the following areas:
PALISADES FIRE AREA:
Getty Villa area
Highlands near the burned areas
Bienveneda area near Temescal Canyon Park
Reseda Blvd area/Marinette Road near Will Rogers State Park
Mandeville Canyon above Tanners Road
SUNSET FIRE AREA:
East and South of Runyon Canyon
HURST FIRE AREA:
Olive Lane in the Oakridge Mobile Home Park

Specific addresses within the above warning areas are at especially high risk. These residences will be visited by LAPD and issued EVACUATION ORDERS.

While the displays the affected areas, residents are encouraged to inspect maps labeled "PHASE 2" , in order to better understand debris flow risk and predictions.
Residents are also encouraged to and sign up to receive email/text message alerts for up-to-date mudflow forecasts.
