Firefighters coordinated salvage operations on the first floor while making attic access from the roof and interior. The home's wood shake roof supported increased surface fire spread -- companies remain on scene to ensure all hot spots are cool. Knockdown in 29 minutes by 36 firefighters on scene. Firefighters coordinated interior fire attack, ensured no extension to adjacent units, and initiated salvage operations to prevent water damage to floor below. Knockdown in 18 minutes by 28 firefighters working on scene.
